Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between washable and disposable pee pads?

Disposable pads are thrown away after use and sold in counts such as 40, 60 or 100 per pack. Washable pads come in packs of 1, 2 or 4 and go in the washing machine; one listing allows tumble drying on low heat.

What size pee pad holder do I need for a large dog?

Match the tray to the pad. The rectangular tray on this page measures 36 x 25 in, and its listing gives pad sizes of 24 x 35 in and 25 x 36 in. Of the 24 x 24 in trays, one has a 28 x 34 in option and the other a 30 x 36 in option.

Do pee pad holders have sides or clips?

The silicone trays linked on this page all list raised edges and clips: four clips, four fixing clips, or 4 sturdy clips.

What do I need for an indoor dog potty station?

A pee pad and a holder tray of the same size, placed where the dog can reach it. The indoor potty station guide on this page walks through the sizes.

Are there pee pads for cats or rabbits?

Yes. One disposable pad is sold for dogs and cats, another names cats and rabbits, and an 18 x 13 in pad is sold for rabbits and guinea pigs.

Can I buy puppy pads in larger counts?

Several listings sell packs of 100, and some size options go to 150 or 200 pads per pack.

How do I choose cat litter box furniture or an enclosure?

Measure the litter box and compare it with the inside size on the listing. One cabinet gives an inside of 21.6 x 18.2 x 19.7 inches, and another states boxes up to 12.2 x 20.87 in.
