Unit price calculator: compare package deals by price per unit

Different package sizes, one clear comparison. Use this unit price calculator before Black Friday on November 27, 2026, Cyber Monday, or your next everyday shop.

Use it as a price per ounce calculator or a which is cheaper calculator. Compare similar products: quantity alone does not account for quality, concentration or performance.

This tool compares only the prices you enter. It does not identify the cheapest store, track past prices or verify discounts.

Enter the total price for all packs in each option, then the number of packs and the amount in each pack. For 3 packs of 20 bags, enter 3 packs and 20 items per pack.

Use the same currency for every option. No currency conversion is performed; calculator amounts have no currency symbol.

Example numbers are illustrative, not store offers. Load the example to compare 60 bags for 12 with 90 bags for 15.

How it’s calculated

Total quantity = number of packs × amount per pack × unit conversion factor. Adjusted cost = total package price − coupon + entered shipping + entered tax. Unit price = adjusted cost ÷ total quantity in the selected comparison unit.

A percent coupon reduces only the package price; an amount coupon subtracts once from that price. Tax is an amount you enter, not an automatic rate calculation. Check coupon eligibility yourself.

Weight converts only to weight; volume only to volume. oz is weight; fl oz is US liquid volume, not Imperial or the rounded 30 ml labeling unit. Item, sheet and roll are separate count types. To compare rolls by sheets, enter the sheets per roll and choose sheet. in and cm compare length only.

Prices and quantities must be positive. Packs and count quantities must be whole numbers. Coupons, shipping and tax may be zero. Values above 1 billion or below supported price precision are rejected.

1 oz = 28.349523125 g · 1 lb = 453.59237 g · 1 US fl oz = 29.5735295625 ml · 1 kg = 1000 g · 1 L = 1000 ml · 1 in = 2.54 cm.

Unit price questions

How do I compare different package sizes?

Divide the adjusted price by the total quantity in the same unit. For example, 12 for 60 bags is 0.20 per bag; 15 for 90 bags is about 0.167 per bag.

Can I compare ounces and fluid ounces?

No. Ounces measure weight and US fluid ounces measure volume. Compare oz with g or lb, and US fl oz with ml or L. Density would be needed to convert weight to volume.

Does the lowest unit price prove a Black Friday discount?

No. The result only compares your entered prices and quantities. It does not check price history, store prices, coupon eligibility or product quality.
