This SV500 aquarium filter serves 10–30-gallon tanks with a maximum flow of 130 GPH to control green water and improve circulation. Aeration and rainfall modes, a filtration sponge and a timed UV light give you flexible ways to manage aquarium water.
Key features
- Efficient performance: Model SV-500 runs at 6 W with a maximum flow of 130 GPH. Designed for 10–30-gallon aquariums, it removes green water while improving oxygen distribution and circulation.
- Flexible operation modes: Choose from 2 configurations. Aeration mode uses venturi technology and adjustable air intake to increase oxygen saturation; rainfall mode sends filtered water evenly over the surface through a spray bar.
- Advanced filtration sponge: The included premium sponge traps suspended excess food, fish waste and organic debris. By limiting buildup on the light's glass sleeve, it helps the light work at maximum efficiency.
- Programmable UV bulb: The built-in 6 W UV light controls green water and cloudiness. Select among 4 timer settings of 4/8/12/24 hours to match your maintenance schedule; the timer controls only the light, not the pump.
- Visual status monitoring: A transparent viewing window in the filter housing lets you quickly check whether the lamp is working and easily monitor operation.
